On Sunday, 13 October 2019, in the evening at 20:38, in Rietavo municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 257.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the BMW (14 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
