On Thursday, 10 October 2019, in the morning at 7:30, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 6), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant, a Suzuki Vitara, a Mercedes-Benz and a Renault Megane Scenic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Audi (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
