On Saturday, 19 October 2019, in the afternoon at 16:02, in Plungės district municipality, on the Truikiai–Babrungėnai regional road (kilometre 6.23), a Nissan X-Trail rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Nissan (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.38‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
