On Saturday, 19 October 2019, in the evening at 17:25, in Kauno district municipality, Karkazų village, on Titnago street near No. 5, an Opel Corsa rolled over. Four people were injured — the 23-year-old driver of the Opel (treated as an outpatient), a 19-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient), a 20-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient) and a 24-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.57‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
