On Friday, 25 October 2019, at night at 1:35, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Bažnyčios street near No. 7, a Volvo S80 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.96‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
