On Friday, 1 November 2019, in the evening at 21:24, in Vilniaus city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 10), a Mercedes-Benz 110 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 100 km/h.
