On Sunday, 10 November 2019, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 108.80), a Volkswagen Sharan rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
