On Friday, 15 November 2019, in the evening at 22:52, in Kupiškio district municipality, Dailiūnų village, on Blaivybės street, an Opel Vectra-B-Caravan hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.78‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
