On Tuesday, 26 November 2019, in the morning at 7:47, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta national road (kilometre 39.90), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 Avant and a Mercedes-Benz 515. One person was injured — the 44-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
