On Tuesday, 26 November 2019, at night at 23:40, in Kauno district municipality, Kačergių village, on the Vandžiogala–Užumiškiai–Pakapiai regional road (kilometre 6.70), a Ford Galaxy hit an obstacle. One person was injured — a 29-year-old passenger of the Ford (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Ford, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.24‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
