On Saturday, 30 November 2019, in the morning at 8:12, in Jonavos district municipality, Medinų village, on the Bukonys–Upninkai–Keižonys regional road (kilometre 25.90), a BMW 525 rolled over. Three people were injured — the 34-year-old driver of the BMW (hospitalized), a 20-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient) and a 19-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.97‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 20-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
