On Tuesday, 3 December 2019, in the evening at 17:16, in Trakų district municipality, Madžiūnų village, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 36.14), an Iveco Daily 35C15 registered in Russia hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Iveco (9 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
