On Thursday, 5 December 2019, in the morning at 7:45, in Kaunas, on 9-ojo Forto street, at the junction with Skalvių street, a Skoda Octavia hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 12-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Skoda (25 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
