On Tuesday, 17 December 2019, in the evening at 17:20, in Klaipėda, on Vilniaus pl. near No. 10, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Antara and a Scania R 114 LA. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Opel (28 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
