On Saturday, 21 December 2019, in the morning at around 6:00, in Skuodo district municipality, on the Mažeikiai–Skuodas national road (kilometre 45.50), a Mercedes-Benz 1841 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
