On Friday, 3 January 2020, in the afternoon at 15:15, in Kaunas, on Žemaičių pl. near No. 66, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 528 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
