On Sunday, 19 January 2020, in the evening at 22:44, in Alytaus district municipality, Eigirdonių village, on Trakų street near No. 7, an Audi A4 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.00‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
