On Friday, 31 January 2020, in the afternoon at 11:03, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 13.50), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira, a Lamborghini R7.210 and a trailer/semi-trailer > 10 t. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 67-year-old driver of the Opel (49 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
