On Friday, 7 February 2020, at night at 2:20, in Pakruojo district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Pakruojis–Pasvalys national road (kilometre 27.66), an Audi A6 Avant hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.24‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
