On Wednesday, 1 January 2020, in the evening at 19:10, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, on J. Basanavičiaus street, at the junction with Kudirkos Naumiesčio street, a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 60-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene.
