On Wednesday, 12 February 2020, in the evening at 17:50, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Pirčiupiai–Jašiūnai national road (kilometre 23.91), a Volvo V70 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Volvo (22 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
