On Thursday, 13 February 2020, in the evening at 19:31, in Kaunas, on Islandijos pl. near No. 32, a Toyota Yaris hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 70-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Toyota (4 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
