On Monday, 17 February 2020, in the morning at around 8:00, in Šiauliai, on Išradėjų street near No. 16, a Toyota Picnic hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 33-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Toyota (20 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
