On Friday, 21 February 2020, in the evening at around 22:00, in Mažeikių district municipality, Gyvolių village, on Virvytės street near No. 33, a Peugeot 206 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.48‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
