On Wednesday, 26 February 2020, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Kretingos district municipality, Baublių village, on Mokyklos street near No. 17, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 and a Honda CR-V. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the BMW (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.97‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
