On Saturday, 29 February 2020, in the morning at around 9:00, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Žemaitijos street near No. 20, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Opel (17 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
