On Saturday, 7 March 2020, in the morning at 9:30, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Gamyklos street near No. 46C, a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.39‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
