On Wednesday, 11 March 2020, in the morning at 8:14, in Klaipėda, on Molo street near No. 50, a Mercedes-Benz ML 320 CDI hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.10‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 22-year-old passenger of the Mercedes-Benz was drunk (2.18‰). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 30 km/h.
