On Friday, 13 March 2020, in the evening at 20:40, in Trakų district municipality, Kariotiškių village, on Lentvario street, a BMW 525 D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.27‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
