On Thursday, 19 March 2020, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on A. Kriščiukaičio street near No. 14, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen and a Ford S-MAX. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
