On Saturday, 4 April 2020, in the evening at 19:10, in Klaipėda, on Bandužių street near No. 16, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Alfa Romeo 147, a Nissan Qashqai and a Nissan Juke. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Alfa Romeo, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.48‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
