On Thursday, 9 April 2020, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Pramonės pr., a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a BMW 320D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Opel (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
