On Friday, 10 April 2020, at night at around 3:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, Pabalių village, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 120), a Volvo FH 440 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Volvo (33 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). The Volvo had recorded faults (padangų). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
