On Monday, 20 April 2020, in the evening at 18:06, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 131), a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
