On Thursday, 23 April 2020, in the evening at 22:10, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Siesartis–Žemaitkiemis–Kibildžiai regional road (kilometre 10.50), an Audi A3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
