On Sunday, 3 May 2020, at night at 0:50, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 42.50), a Volvo S60 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volvo (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.45‰ blood alcohol).
