On Sunday, 3 May 2020, in the evening at around 19:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Šiaulėnai–Daktariškiai–Mėnaičiai regional road (kilometre 1.12), a vehicle ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. A 33-year-old passenger of a vehicle was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
