On Saturday, 2 May 2020, in the evening at 17:13, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Išorai–Užusaliai–Būdos regional road (kilometre 6.83), a Land Rover Freelander rolled over. Three people died — a 59-year-old passenger of the Land Rover (was not wearing a seatbelt), a 52-year-old passenger of the Land Rover (was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 54-year-old passenger of the Land Rover (later died from the injuries, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Land Rover (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.22‰ blood alcohol). A 59-year-old passenger of the Land Rover was drunk (2.76‰). A 52-year-old passenger of the Land Rover was drunk (2.47‰). A 54-year-old passenger of the Land Rover was drunk (2.21‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
