On Friday, 15 May 2020, in the afternoon at 14:22, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Gegužinė–Puodžiūnai–Sereikoniai regional road (kilometre 3.50), a Peugeot 106 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.92‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
