On Monday, 25 May 2020, at night at around 0:00, in Palanga, on Bendrovių street near No. 4, a Volvo V40 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Volvo, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
