On Friday, 29 May 2020, at night at 23:14, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vievis–Maišiagala–Nemenčinė national road (kilometre 5), a Mazda 3 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Mazda (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.44‰ blood alcohol).
