On Monday, 25 May 2020, in the evening at 19:34, in Kaunas, on Islandijos pl. near No. 32, a Chevrolet Captiva hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Chevrolet (23 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
