On Friday, 5 June 2020, in the evening at around 20:00, in Druskininkų municipality, on Klonio street near No. 4A, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW and an Audi Q7 registered in Czechia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (14 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
