On Saturday, 27 June 2020, in the evening at 18:20, in Šilutės district municipality, Ventės village, on Žvejų street, a Qingqi rolled over. Two people were injured — the 29-year-old driver of the Qingqi (hospitalized) and a 49-year-old passenger of the Qingqi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Qingqi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. A 49-year-old passenger of the Qingqi was drunk (2.36‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 30 km/h.
