On Wednesday, 1 July 2020, in the evening at 22:19, in Tauragės district municipality, Pilsūdų village, on Šilalės street, a BMW 318 I registered in Norway rolled over. Four people were injured — the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (hospitalized), a 15-year-old passenger of the BMW (hospitalized), a 17-year-old passenger of the BMW (hospitalized) and a 19-year-old passenger of the BMW (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
