On Saturday, 11 July 2020, at night at 4:24, in Trakų district municipality, on the Strėva–Ismonys–Rūdiškės regional road (kilometre 2.70), a Volvo V40 ran off the road. One person was injured — a 32-year-old passenger of the Volvo (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.69‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
