On Monday, 13 July 2020, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kretingos district municipality, Padvarių village, on Vienkiemio street near No. 10, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Ford Mondeo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. The 55-year-old driver of the Ford had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
