On Wednesday, 15 July 2020, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 280), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MAN TGA 26.440 registered in Estonia and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the MAN (4 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
