On Saturday, 18 July 2020, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 36.30), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Seat Leon registered in Germany. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
