On Saturday, 18 July 2020, in the afternoon at 12:15, in Jurbarko district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street near No. 98, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 520 and an Audi Q5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
